Does anyone else find themselves re-discovering music all over again. I havent bothered with the smiths since junior year, but I was really bored, and decided to listen to William, It Was Really Nothing. The Smiths really are amazing. I think im going to go home and root through my moms old record collection, and see what nifty bits of history I can find buried within the thousands of pressed vinyl discs that contain her entire life story...she was one of those nifty people who express themselves through song. Kind of like John Cusack in high fidelity, but less retarded. No matter what happens, i have a window directly into her soul...her record collection 1968-1986. Every question I ever wanted to ask her is contained in them. When looking at a record, you can tell how many times it has been played, and with enough thinking, i can piece together what happened at what point based on when the record came out and how many times it has been played.

On a much brighter note, i was able to save my music collection. 4000+ songs are all back and in working order. Obscure 80's music here I come. Live version of On the outside anybody?
