(no subject)
So hello Livejournal... *looks sheepish* I guess it's time for my annual post...
Obligatory apology: I'm so sorry for staying away so long. I missed you, my dear sweet Livejournal. Let us never part again? *clutches*
So... What's up with you? There is complete comment amnesty. :D Assume I have not been reading LJ and know nothing about your plans to rule the world or anything. Regale me with tales of the last... Year? Oh my god I suck. I heart you.
Me, myself? I graduated (as you guys know) and got a job at stupid Severn Trent Water (local and somewhat evil waterboard) answering the phone and calming down customers that we have inevitably overcharged. I think I'm getting really cynical though as I seem to be taking the company's side more often than not nowadays... Whoops!
Laura and I are still together (Yay!) and she is love. :D We went to Wales for a week in this gorgeous little cottage. It even had a hot tub and an open fire so after a hard day's walk (yeah, right!) we could soak and relax completely. It was so so gorgeous and I really want to go back!
I have gotten tragically out of fandoms and don't even think about Harry Potter any more :( It's tragic I know. Although I have to say I am so very loving the new season of Doctor Who (Donna is sooooo funny) and Battlestar Galatica is truly my new love. Why are all the cylons so hott? (obviously with the exception of the two... older... men ;)) I don't think we shall ever know. If anyone else is watching the new season, comment? I wish to speculate!! (Spoilers for anyone not watching season 4) Whee!! Oh and 24! I have been watching all of that too with Laura. Although we're only half way through season 3, so no spoiling! :P It's awesome and I have been laughing my head off at all the "Jack Bauer is god" facts on the intarwebs. For example:
The city of Los Angeles once named a street after Jack Bauer in gratitude for his saving the city several times. They had to rename it after people kept dying when they tried to cross the street. No one crosses Jack Bauer and lives.
Aaand I think I'll leave you with that. So talk to me, LJ! Tell me all about yourself. Don't be shy, I won't read anything into it, and I promise I'll be gentle... ;)
