It's a watching thing - Tiger & Bunny! It's an anime about a veteran superhero who is paired up with a rookie who shares his same super power, which is to increase his strength 100 times. All the superheroes are sponsored by companies and they all compete for "hero points" on a TV show. I know, that sounds completely dumb but trust me, it's amazing. They pull off the concept well.

Also, it's really the characters that make the show. The main lead, Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, is crazy jelly over all the younger superheroes who are more popular than him. He's a single dad who cares about the well-being of the citizens more so than being a walking advertisement. His partner, Barnaby Brooks Jr., is a frosty ice princess who seemingly cares very little about the whole saving people aspect of the job and only wants to rack up points. So you can imagine they butt heads A LOT.

Seriously, I rarely watch anime that's currently airing in Japan...well, no, I rarely watch anime anyway and I set myself an alarm every Saturday to get up and watch a shitty stream of this, even though I can't hear a word they're saying. That's how much I love it. Forget all the things I've recced you so far. This is the only anime you need to watch.
