So work has been very busy lately. Our inventory went through the roof after Thanksgiving and I went in today to find out for some reason we had 9000 claims that were over 25 days in age. Holy Hell that is not good. But the thing that got me, all the claims I saw were outpatient hospital claims that were coded incorrectly. They were all coded as inpatient which was causing them to reject. All that needed to be done was change one number in the code and they would go through. Someone scanning the claims was being lazy because every claim I got had the same user number on it.
But then I got home and saw this, even though it is a bit old and my day got better.
