Small thought on the BSG cont..
Something I'm wondering...
So with Ellen being the Fifth, and already dead as far as canon is concerned. I find myself greatly confused as to the whole final five as a race of whatever the frak they are. I read (somewhere, sometime, I read so many things on the internet I don't even know where I get it anymore) that the final five do not ressurect. Whether it was RDM or Eick who said I don't know. But it was someone from the show explaining just how the five were different and that seemed to be a key piece of info. Ellen is dead. Now and 2000 years ago.
Which hey, 2000 years. The colonies existed two thousand years ago. But the thirteenth tribe supposedly left Kobol about a 1000 (accurate?) before the mass exodus to the Colonies. So I'm wondering how the frak Cylongoddess!Ellen even knew the Colonies existed. And her reborn plan, getting them there, but no one remembered any of it until the nebula on the journey back deal is also massively confusing.
So if she comes back somehow, is she in the same boat (tub of goo?) that Kara is? Because hey, we saw Kara's dead rotting husk (complete with tag and ring! get yours today!) on Earth. We saw Ellen's drugged up poisoned body on New Caprica. One came back, and it seems that they're alluding to Ellen somehow making a come back.
So... Cylongoddess!Ellen? Lordof Kobol!Goddess Kara?
I've seen some people say Kara is Saul and Ellen's daughter, but for obvious yuck issues, I choose not to believe that particular theory.
That would make Kara a cylon, which everyone has said she isn't ever since she came back. (Though I know they can change that at a drop of a dime should they choose.) But it would explain lots of things. IE, Kara's love of the drink she'd get from her papa, her love of the frak from Mama, and unrelenting hate of Socrata Thrace because she knew Kara was never hers, and she served a purpose that Socrata may have not been fully aware of, but did her damndest to make it happen.
All in all, I think what I'm really trying to say is what the frak?
