The first roommate arrives....
One of my roommates moved in today. Her name is Courtney and she's my age and an Ed. major. She's really nice and we got a lot of time this evening to talk and get to know each other. We even made a Wal-mart run, and spent most of the trip laughing histerically...lots of fun. It's still kinda early to tell, but I think I'll like her. She's much more out-going than I am, and seems like she might be a little bit of a party girl, but those aren't necessarily bad things.
There's only one really bad thing that I know I'm going to have a hard time dealing with...she's a smoker. And me, the queen of all that is anti-cigarettes, has to live with her. She's even talking about trying to find a way to smoke in the apartment so she doesn't have to walk downstairs all the time! Lord knows I'll jump out my own window before I let that happen.
I already have plans to by Febreeze next time I'm at the store, so I won't smell any lingering smoke on our furniture.
