Spring Break and stuff
Certain people have been giving me a hard time about not updating enough, so I guess since I'm bored and have nothing better to do at work, I'll update.
Spring Break was all last week. Jake and I took a road trip to Minnesota, to the Mall of America. It was a lot of fun! Our hotel was really nice. We spent both evenings in the hot tub, and then spent the nights in our King Size Bed!!
The mall was even bigger than I remember it! Jake and I were there for 11 hours and just barely made it to all the stores we wanted to see. We went to Underwater Adventures, a giant aquarium underneath the mall, and I touched a Stingray! They also had sharks that you could touch, but I was to scared. Maybe next time.
We rode the roller coaster in Camp Snoopy, and a really fun ghost ride, where you ride in a car, and try to shoot all the ghosts. Jake beat me by 1000 points, but I was just happy that I killed any at all!
We had dinner at a really neat restaurant called Kokomo. It was kind of a theme restaurant like Rainforest Cafe, so it was decorated really fun...I had the waiter take our picture at the table.
I took a lot of pics actually...I think Jacob kinda got annoyed b/c he hates having his picture taken, but he was a pretty good sport about it.
Now that I'm back in Springfield, I finally got a chance to check my email, and I got some pretty good news! Before break, I registered with a nanny placement service. I thought it might be a fun summer job to be a nanny. Today when I got back, I had an email waiting for me from a family who needs a nanny and liked my profile. I've been talking with them through email all afternoon and they want to meet with me for an interview!! I hope it all works out...this could be a really great summer job for me.
