Well... near London actually, but like... a 10 minute train ride.
I got in last night. 24-hour time shift, right, with 12 hours approx. of flying. Had a really nice cab driver inform me I was at the wrong terminal to catch the bus I was looking to catch, so I just went with him as the fair wasn't too much. Of course, I didn't take any pictures... which is sad since it was my first cab ride ever (never have in the US) and he was pretty cool.
I did take a few snaps of my room and of my-lovely jet-lagged face.
I'm not sure what to do with myself. I do know that I desperately need to get a larger purse than the one I have. It's little and functional and I love it, but my backpack is chalked full as is my suitcase and I'm going to die from the weight of them.
Is it terrible that I just want to sit around the B-n-B today? I got about 4 hours of London nighttime sleep. Woke up at about 3a.m. It's just about 7 now so I think I'm going to go shower/get dressed eat breakfast/decide what the heck I'm doing. Have to book a few more nights here and then figure out getting out to Ian's/when he gets off work, etc.
I think I might be allergic to the UK. My nose is all crusty and gross. Ugh. Hopefully the shower will help. Will keep everybody posted.
