Phase One Complete!
As in... getting to Portland and having a place to sleep, etc. whilst I look fo gainful employment, etc. Phase One, I think, was just about the easiest part of the whole thing.
In other news, I've been yakking with some friends of D and been informed that a) he's a bit of a womanizer and b) if I have any remaining expectations of him, they should be low. It's basically, "You seem nice, and he's my friend, but he's an ass situation." It is nice to actually articulate a lot of my feelings about it. Essentially, it boils down to how incredibly awesome I am and how he should know that but he's either dumb, a weenie, or both.
In any case, it sucks, but is feeling more resolved even if it still is a crap situation.
