Can't stop the Linsey
1. Yesterday got to play with my nephew. He's not talking -- very secretive that one -- and getting his teeth early. He loves pita and hummus. He will be one next month and will be available for dating... never... cause that'd be odd.
2. Next bit of info... there is an event later today that will involve me meeting up with a male person and the consumption of likely caffeinated beverages. It's friendly, from what I gather. Trying to articulate that I'm not expecting much but I'm hoping it will be fun and not disappointly unpleasant.
3. Saw my and my mom's friend Enid today for brunch. She's so great. I love having her as a family friend -- she's excellent. Work, which is at the place I used to work at and that my mom recently quit from, is complicated and a bit on the tough side. I mentioned something about Enid being the secretary for the business my mom and I are semi-working on. That would excellent.
4. I have a new to me dresser. I'm hoping to paint it in some manner so that it's cool and different. Right now it is just white. I will likely post before and after pictures once I do actually paint it.
