Hee, I'm jumping on the meme bandwagon thanks to arabian (who invented this one) and badboy_fangirl who catalyzed me into participating ...

These are my favourite movies below.  Ask me any questions related to them ... favourite character, couple (if applicable), why I love it so, when I first watched it, or whatever you want to ask ...

OMG, SAVE THE LAST DANCE! I love that movie. Julia Stiles--oh, I love her, love her, love her. Tell me anything you want about that, when you first saw it, your impressions about it, what you most love about it!

And, yes to LotR: favorite characters, ships, favorite film of the three, favorite hobbit, scariest moment for you, have you seen the extended editions?

Also, do you have a favorite line of dialogue from 10 Things?

My favorite parts of StLD are the parallels in the opening sequence (Sarah dancing while her mother is driving to see her) and the sequence when she's auditioning for Juilliard and Derek is rushing to come support her. The opening bit plays into Sarah's belief that it was her fault that her mother died, that she was somehow responsible, and I loved that even though you know that's NOT true, in the end, she was saving Derek's life, because his choice to come support her kept him from being involved in the business with his friends--so poignant. I remember being so impressed that it was an "MTV" produced film and it was so good. And I agree, the music is great.

Frodo + Sam = OTP of friendships, always. And yes, the giant spider is SO SCARY. I'm terrified of spiders, so you can only imagine how much that freaked me out.

I love Kat's poem too. And pretty much everything Patrick says to Cameron. Excellent choices!

Oh! Great insight. I completely missed that parallel and that is very poignant.

I'm not so fond of spiders either, but do remember a post of your about your terror. That scene must have had quite the effect on you each time you saw it.

Cameron had some great lines as well. "And I'm back in the game" springs to mind as a particularly funny one.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Cameron) reminds me of my nephew, so I find him adorable. Have you seen (500) Days of Summer? That is such a great movie, and JGL is all grown up, and wonderful.

I did see that movie and JGL was what I enjoyed most about it.
