Isn't it funny that Damon KILLED Jeremy, and yet the breaking point (the REAL breaking point) for Elena with Stefan is that he didn't care about protecting Jeremy? Oh, ironies, I love thee.

What Stefan did was so deliberate, and to quote someone famous: he will always choose DAMON. Always.

Yes, I long ago decided Stefan's story was about Damon while Damon's story is about Elena, and these are the two epic love stories of the show. Agreed, agreed!
