It's About Time!
This update is for you Kate! I have been such a bad journaler. Since I haven't been here in so long I am going to do a quick month-by-month recap and then I'll come back tommorow and do some wedding pictures.
June-First Amber got married-then my best friend got married-then I got married and went to Mexico!
July-I settled into life as a married woman and got all my hair cut off. We went to Louisville for a Kentucky State Police Convention and Derek's brother told us he was moving to Arizona.
August-Our brother and sister-in-law moved to Arizona-I started graduate school. I go from 8-8 three days a week and the school is over an hour from where Derek and I live but only 30 minutes from my parents so I stay with them 2 nights a week.
September-We went to all the high school football games because my sisters boyfriend is the quarterback. Our good friends Brent and Amanda welcomed their second child into the world. Derek worked almost every Friday night so my friend Dusti and I had lots of slumber parties!! I also scrapbooked a whole lot!
October-I was really busy with school so we didn't do much else. We spent alot of our spare time with our friends and their kids!
November- My sister turned 16! Derek and I went to see the Lion King with our friends Michael and Jill. We celebrated Thanksgiving with the families and then got up at 4:00 a.m. to go and get this years coolest toys for our pretend nieces and nephews for Christmas (They aren't really are nieces and nephews...they are our best friends kids but they think we are there aunt and uncle! We also celebrated Amelia's first birthday..she is the pretend niece!
December- We celebrated christmas with of our workplaces- had 4 family Christmas' and 3 friend ones! Derek's brother and his wife came to stay for a week! We went out several times with friends. Derek had most of the month off with me!!
January-We went to Gatlinburg for a week with 6 other couples! After that we came home and Derek was off the next week so we spent the whole week together just hanging out. We went to Louisville with the church youth group and I started back to school!!
