It's been a long time ...
... since I posted last.
I can't explain why, apart from since I decided to call a halt to FT's publication, writing as a whole hasn't appealed to me. It's not that I haven't had plenty to write about (far from it - it's been a rather eventful few months, to say the least!), I just haven't felt inclined to make the time to put stuff down on screen.
I'm pleased to report* that slowly, I'm feeling the urge to write again - and even getting ideas. True, they're occuring in the most inconvenient places, like when I should be thinking about work, but I still find that encouraging. If nothing else, that's a sign that somewhere under all the stress, the story-writing part is waiting for me to give it space to get creative again.
My characters are all coming back to me again, too. This sounds really odd, and I honestly can't think of a better way to describe it, but it's almost like seeing old friends again.
May post some drabbles up on here / my website should I get the time and / or the inclination...
