Holiday!
This time tomorrow, I will probably be on the back of a bike somewhere on the M6, on our way up to Scotland for a long weekend :oD
As we're meeting people at 6am (!), I've got up early the past 2 days to try and acclimatise myself to such an early start, so I was up at 6am yesterday and 5am today. I really don't like early mornings, but without doing this I'd really struggle tomorrow.
So, today's challenge is fitting 4 days worth of stuff into two panniers and a top box. Sounds hard, but the combined capacity of both is more than my car's boot, so it's not too bad. Admittedly, we are making an effort to pack light; both me and Dave have a tendency to pack everything just in case, which is how we manage to completely fill the Octavia when we go camping.
Anyway, hopefully it'll stay dry - I don't mind if it's not hot and sunny, I just don't want lots of rain...
