grydscaen world: Book 7 Summary
Riuho returns dead set on destroying the Packrats and leads a faction of Jannai to the packrat sprawl and slaughters the packrats in their stronghold. The packrats are decimated and many people are killed.
Faid regroups with Acolyte and a few remaining members, trying to piece back together the remains of their organization.
Faid is deadset on getting revenge against Riuho and devotes his entire life to stopping Riuho. Faid has an illegal Jannai blood transfusion called Sikes and due to the fact that this contradicts the packrat code he is stripped of his leadership role of the packrats. Acolyte becomes the new Packrat Saicho.
Gloughster's transgressions in the timestream can no longer be ignored and the Eleni come to call, and stip him of his psychic power. Gloughster is devastated by this and commits suicide leaving Lino alone.
Lino becomes a raving drunk because he can not deal with the loss of his mate pair, Gloughster.
Riuho attacks Lino at the palace and the two go through a battle for life and death in the timestream.
