Weekend of the 4th
Friday- After hockey practice, I learned how to salsa @ Julia's Surprise 1/2 Birthday party. Meghan didn't come, becuase she had to feed sheep! I met Audrey's little sister Emma--she's a kick in the pants! what a little chatterbox!
Saturday- Went to Tara's moving in party. Her new neighbors commented on how they knew that her family must be mexican, because they had mexican wheels on their car. what the hell do mexican wheels look like? Just because they said that, as we were leaving she yells, "Hey ese, get in the mexican car. Bye white friends!" It was quite amusing, especially since I'm sure her stupid neighbors heard.
Sunday-(the 4th) I got up @7 for a pancake breakfast put on by little leaguers. Then I went downtown for the pep band parade thing. (I just love to see my fellow band people.) Then Yael and I went to the Cowell/El Cemonte block party where we won napkins in the doughnut eating contest. We avoided the remainder of the "party" by playing drums and keyboard @ Alex's house. After lunch with the infamous Daleidens, my family set out for Heather's house for a Poston/Pyle/Jones birthday gathering. I survived. Came home for fireworks in the park and got to hang out with Kiran, Alex Theg and Barnett, Gary, and Stevie for a little while. (don't let gary explain jokes to you, because he doesn't get them either. actually, it wasn't even a joke) Then Ashley, my dad, and I went over to the Britton's house to set off fireworks ourselves. We couldn't bring adam for a very humorous reason. I'll tell whoever cares to hear.
