What is Your Favorite Word?
I got job applications for Mocha Joe's and Nugget. don't most apps just want to know about past jobs and criminal records? not nugget; they want to know what my favorite word is and why. my favorite word... that's so much harder than straight forward questions. what are they going to read into this? clearly they don't want responses like: "sharp" or "incinerate" or "crack". (not that these are my favorite words anyway.)
I talked to my sister and she said, "parallelogram, because i like the 'llello'" sound. a response like that won't give the most intellectual impression.
I talked to my mom and she said, "food, because i like eating." while this may show them interest in the grocery store, i think it would also make them fear that she'd eat on the job.
I talked to my brother and he said, "aaaaaaahhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeooooooohhii!! because it annoys you." needless to say that won't get anyone hired.
