Stuck in a Rut??
Hey guys, long time. Nothing really going on which is why the lack of postage. Have been flat out with work and looking for work (sounds strange I know) and keeping the house from not falling down around us and generally worrying about everything else but me.
So two months ago we remembered the death of my sister and her birthday. Wade came up after he got back from a mammoth trip overseas (so very jealous), and all the family went out for dinner, that night we watched her slide show that we played at the funeral - still very sad and hard to watch - but at the same time - good to see her again. Visited her grave the next day and I think that was the hardest. No grass has grown over her which strangely makes me sad. Other plots are beautifully covered in grass and she just has dirt...
Work has been quite good of late, not a terrible pain in the arse as many of you would think. Retail = not that bad. You obviously get the odd irate person who is very displeased with their off cheese, or opened packet of crumpets (??!!), or dare I say, maggoty chicken (that is a good story I might save for another day). But then you get the customers who tell you what a great job you do and how they understand what we must go thru with difficult customers, makes your day.
And as for looking for work, its a total no go. Have sent out numerous letters, phone calls, I have even had an interview and would you believe - heard nothing back!! Bot even a "Thanks, but no thanks" phone call. Didn't want to work there anyway ;)
Now into the real stuff ... Whose been watching Lost?? please someone....
I have been a very naughty girl and have been getting Wade to download future episodes for me. I am up to episode 11 and its good, like really good. I know here in Oz we are only up to ep 6 but if you are watching it you really should try and stick with it coz it definitely does get better and more interesting.
Gotta run but will be back more regularly I promise.
