go ye heroes...

I've had the "Go ye heros, go and die" song from "Pirates" stuck in my head for about three days now. This may not be a good thing. I don't think anyone should be worried unless I start encouraging actual people to get involved in life-threatening situations. If that does happen, girls, please make me stop. Lol, just feed me chocolate until I'm pacified.
This whole spring term thing isn't too bad. At the moment, it's a lot of work, but for the most part, it's fun. I'm not pleased with rehearsals that go over or having to be somewhere when I really shouldn't have to be there, but for the most part, it's been good. It's going to be hard not to laugh at the (semi) serious parts, especially when the pirates are supposed to be scary and really they're just cute. I admit too, that all the bass voices are a very nice side benefit to all of this rehearsing.
Doc told us today that we needed to figure out our characters and it has to be something that we can keep up for the entire show. I wanted to just be really, really ditzy and obsessed with dancing (hey, wait... ditzy and obsessed with dancing... isn't that me already?) but a lot of other people are just being ditzy, so now I have to find my own. I'll figure one out before long though; I've already gotten a few traits set.
I should go finish a few things before heading to my next rehearsal. This afternoon we're blocking the rest of the show and then tonight we get to do the whole first act.
