No More Crafting After Midnight....(warning: high ickyness factor)

So some of you will probably appreciate this, others will hate me for life..

Today, while working on what is going to be a very lovely memory quilt, I sewed directly through my thumb, nail and all, with the sewing machine I've appropriated. The male nurse at the ER told me I should have gotten a picture before they treated me and I seriously considered making Mom turn the car around. Pain prevailed however, and I didn't get a picture. I did get to keep the needle though and as the same nurse handed me the sharps container he said "here, so you won't stick yourself with it." I laughed and said "It's a little late for that now, isn't it?"

In other news, Eric and I got my family hooked on Joss Whedon's "Firefly" and it's been really funny watching it with them. The difference between what I normally watch with them and the issues in that show struck me too and although it's not a lot, it was big enough to make me think.

I'm also playing scrabble on my wardrobe door with alphabet magnets I found while cleaning the game room. So far I have the words 'erbigeration, summation, bump, mole, salve, waste, brat, neat, goal, and torque.' Let me know if you have more fun ones for me.

Anyway, I'm sorry for the ickyness factor and the fact that I probably grossed a lot of you out. I blame it all on the adrenline. I'm a little giddy...
