We Hardly Knew Ye
1. I think I’m the only person who actually cleans out my Favorite Stories list on FF.net. I’m a nerd. I admit it. I don’t do it often. Maybe once a year or so but I think it’s telling to look back on a story and you wonder why you ever considered it to be a favorite. It was good, yeah, but you’ve moved on.
2. For the past few days, I’ve had one [gospel] song stuck in my head. It goes, I said I wasn’t gonna tell nobody but I (couldn’t keep it to myself)…what the Lord has done for me. You oughta been there when He saved my soul. You oughta been there when He put my name on the roll. See I started walking, I started talking, I started singing, I started shouting what the Lord has done for me. It’s catchy.
3. Tonight is JJ’s last episode on Criminal Minds. I’m a little depressed. I’m cheering myself up with fanfic and YouTube. I’m going to miss AJ Cook.
4. Late last week, my ear finally popped open completely and I can once again hear every godforsaken sound in existence. I was starting to get used to being half-deaf. At least every creak and groan wasn’t keeping me up in the middle of the night.
5. Seriously, I just want to scream at General Hospital. They brought back Brenda only to have every fucking scene she’s in be about Sonny. Every fucking scene. Did the writers miss the 2002 comeback when she finally got over him and said goodbye? WTF? Oh, wait, I forgot this show is headed by a man who thinks soap fans have the brain capacity of a gnat. Gotcha.
6. I’ve started filling one of my notebooks with story ideas. I’m not counting those chickens before they hatch but at least it gives me time to prepare something for NaNoWriMo if I so wish.
7. For the first time in 15 years, Stone is back on GH. I’ve been waiting for this moment for forever and from the look on Kimberly McCullough’s face, so has she.
