back again from tejas.
i really had a nice time. And even with all the filming stuff I had a good time. hahahahahahha
oh man- the guys Adam and Eric were awesome! I think they had a good time in Texas and they really helpped out alot. They really liked Texas too- so that was cool cause it made me like texas too...even though its not like i have been hating...but you know.

Thursday- Adam, Eric and I went up to the highschool and shot interviews....I then took them up to see Gruene Hall and ofcourse! we ate BBQ...then we went to Matthews football game where he tore it up! Huisache had their 10th anniversary party and we went...we got tipsy off of free wine and then ate dinner. The evening was soo pleasant. Friday- was kinda crazy- we went and talked to the Broadcast journalism class and then left for austin to pick up equipment and gram. We got back to the high school to shoot the pep ralley. We had several problems with mixers and mics. Then the game happened and again had issues with the mixers and mics.. It turns out that one of the mics was faulty but seriously. That is something that I have definitely learned about film crews/sets. You need to have someone who understands and knows sound. Jesse knew enough thank god to get us through all the shizzz but its still was stressful. (PS Jesse is amazing!)
Saturday we woke up and went and got a couple of interveiws at the highschool nothing too stressful. I wish I was better prepared for what to ask them- because I think that is where things might get screwy. Saturday afternoon I took the guys, Jesse,Adam, Eric to wurstfest. Then we headed to Austin. WE went to Shady Grove for dinner and then headed down to 6th street. It was cool to walk down the streets and see all the costumes and everything! After 6th street we went to the Alamo Draft House and saw Spirara- which is not the scariest movie ever.thank goodness. I slept through part of it. Sunday we actually got to sleep in a bit. I was still abit anxiety driven so I got up around 7:30ish..we ate breakfast and then we left for San Antonio to see the actual Alamo and River Walk. Then at this point it was time to catch the plane back to Boston.

So it was a packed in weekend with lots of shiz to do. I think it went well. I know just have to write 2 papers, plan for the last weekend of shooting and get things in gear for the rest of the semester.
