GO AWAY STUPID FIRE!
This is what I was seeing while driving home last night on the freeway and I used to live here. Even though I had the windows up and the AC on, my eyes began to burn and my throat as well. Never have experienced such intense pain from just smoke. The fire looks like lava, don't you think?
Thank goodness I don't live in Tujunga anymore. When I lived there, there was so much dry brush up and around the area that hadn't burned in a long time and it made me nervous.
I took some videos, but will have to post them later as my camera is in my car &it is hotter than hell outside, 97 degrees to be exact.
My friend Laura who plays in a band, her other bandmates lives in several structures that is located in this part of the Angeles Forest that has burned accoring to the map online. I called her saturday and she said they left friday. The area where they were burned and I haven't heard from her yet if they know their place is gone. The waiting of news would kill me if that happened to me. Here is hoping that their place didn't get destroyed, that already had the instruments all loaded up, so I am sure that that is all they really care about.
