I personally didn't get my ass in gear and do my normal last-minute research on the candidates, so I felt it was neither fair nor just for me to try and cast a vote, partisan or otherwise.
In a situation such as we've seen during the last 2 elections, I might have been quite perturbed by an electoral vote that did not overwhelmingly reflect the popular vote. In this election, however, the electoral college did a fantastic job of replicating the views of the masses.
I may not like it or even agree with it, but that's what I get for procrastination. And thank god for the NRA... If certain gun laws try to get pushed through under the table, banking on the fact that people will be paying attention to the war and the economy, I know that the one's paying attention will be the NRA and fellow firearms enthusiasts. As George Michael said, "You gotta have faith-a, faith-a, faith-a..."
I was going to vote for Bob Barr anyway.
