some new stuff
Well let's see. Today I took my Praxis (for those of you who don't know it's a stupid test that Education majors have to take in order to get into the cohort(another stupid thing)). So anyway, it's pretty much like the proficiency test we took in 8th grade only a little harder maybe. There's reading, writing and math. It was at freaking 8:30 in the morning up in Dayton but I got there way early, lol. So anyway I did it and I already know I passed the reading and math. You have to have a 178 to pass and I had a 182 in reading and 178 in math! Whew that was close. I really thought I would do better in math than reading but whatev. I'm just glad I passed both of those cause if I didn't I would have to take it again which = more $$. I guess I'll know if I pass the writing in like 3 weeks, but at least some of the stress has been lifted.
Another thing I think I've decided is that I want to finish at Oxford. At first I wasn't sure cause it's expensive and I would rather go to lets say UC to see Noah more. From what I hear though having a degree in education from Oxford is more impressive than if I got one at UC. The lady that did the testing also said that Miami students have the highest scores on the Praxis than any other school in Ohio... also impressive to me. So I guess that settles that. Plus I know all my credits will transfer and I'll graduate when planned. I'll probably just commute though... we'll see.
