YEAR IN REVIEW...LJ STYLE
Bands I saw this past year:
- GWAR at Canal Club on New Year's
- Rewind at the Jaxx
- Depeche Mode at Patriot Center
- Synthetic Nightmare at numerous clubs
- Devildriver at the Jaxx
- Coheed and Cambria at ODU (crowd-surfered)
- various bands at Ozzfest like System of a Down, Disturbed, As I Lay Dying, Dragonforce, etc.
- Bella Morte at Alley Katz
- 30 Seconds to Mars at the Norva
- Mindless Self Indulgence at the Norva
- NIN at Richmond Coliseum
- Tool at MCI Center
Good things that happened this past year:
- went as Janis Joplin for a Gaytowne costume party
- celebrated 4 years with Dan
- Sacrosanct and the goth scene (all goth jokes aside, I've never been so comfortable at a club before. I'm surrounded by people that I like, listen to good music, play pool and have guys hit on me dance the night away)
- meeting new people at Sacrosanct like Donnie, Kyle, Will, Rachel, and so many more people
- got my hair cut and dyed (my hair is so healthy now ^_^)
- got a new digital camera (Pretty Penny)
- Will and Lauren's wedding that I photographed went really well
- passed the Praxis
- got my copy of Sacrament signed by Lamb of God
Sad things that happened this past year:
- deaths in the family (Aunt Maragret, Caitlin, Vinnie)
- Ben's suicide
- the Nanci Raygun's closing
- Gaytowne's closing
Bad things that happened this past year:
- lost a shit load of money from an eBay scammer and got my car towed in one week
- getting kicked out of 9:30club on my 21st birthday, missing Devildriver, Trivium and In Flames (worst night ever I have to say), throwing up my Frappicuno in a plastic bag

I realized that...
- life is too short for petty shit and you should hang out with your friends as much as you can before they are or you are gone
- Rika has taken me to the Dork side
- I've gotten better with knitting and icon making
- I can't make everyone else's problems my problem
- if you want things done right, you've got to do them yourself
Next year I will...
- take non-school related photographs once a week and post onto my new LJ
snappinshutters
- improve my icon making skills (it's my zen and another creative outlet that fuels my photography)
- lose 10 pounds before my 22nd birthday
- worry less and socialize more without sacrificing my good grade
- get rid of some stuff in my bed room that is cluttering my life
