I got a job working at Disney.
I'm in "Merchantainment," aka, I'm a sales cashier.
I work at Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney.
So far, I have worked 4 or 5 days and I sure do fancy it.
I mean, what's not to love about working in a TOY STORE?
The best part is talking to people and playing with children. I like to challenge little boys to sword fights and other types of duels with plastic weapons. They get really into it and it never fails to make my day.
Yesterday I was put on lightsaber patrol for most of my shift which I discovered to love quickly. Building them, taking them apart, swinging them around like I'm Obi Wan Kenobi, cleaning up the building station, helping children build them. It's all wonderful. And thank God I'm there to help people because the directions for building them are RIDICULOUS.
I also had the chance to meet a guy who will become the new Aladdin. I'm jealous because I wanted to be a character!!!
But his kindness is blatant and I like him. He wants to get a bunch of cast members together in a "get-to-know-you" type of hangout situation. I'm down. He's quite attractive!
Anywho.
That will be most of July. Then August I move to Tallahassee and start college at FSU. Crazy!
