Sludging on through . . .

so i really don't know what to report on because i don't want to turn this all into a "woe is me" sort of blog that it has become as of recent i will give the synopsis of what's been going down.

- I have reached the end of my rope at Sea World and would love nothing more but to leave. And i can't because wise man say "man without job, is fucked, no matter how shitty the job is" (not really a wise man, just commons sense, and not really a man, just speaking figurtively). But it's ever increasingly hard to not want to just put in a two-weeks notice as each time i come back from my weekend, it just seems far worse than it already was.
- i placed applications through several places, none of them turned up (one responded that the spot was filled (master electrician spot at a youth theatre in Mesa i think, the others never responded, asses)
- i applied for a job with a production company here in town that looked hopeful and like i had the position. I learned today i was denied the position (through an email i might add, which i think is the most chicken shit thing i have seen in a while, at least give me a phone call if anything).
-i really want to move out and be on my own like i was before, but i can't because i don't make enough scratch
-my debt has exceeded my worst nightmares as i have had to use my credit cards to pay for car repairs and other nonsense (one being a suit i bought for the interview with the produciton company because that was their one stipulation for the interview).

There is much more i am sure, buuuuut, i'll stop. only glimmer of hope is that the guy who does the rigging inspections for us at Cirque stadium has been alerting me to places and people he works for (one of them wants me to call in a week once things get a bit more busier).

On a more positive side, my friend Owen is TD'ing an opera in November. He is going to be doing a 20 credit semester in the fall and has no time to do the lighting, so he asked me to do the design ( and according to him, the venue is getting a new lighting console and some intelligent fixtures) so i will be happy to be designing again, and he also said that the curator of the theatre is doing a formal choir concert some time before or after that show, and therefore there is a possibility i might get looped into that as well, so that angle seems hopefull.
