It's been a while......

everything has been busy in the past few months with me having to drop out of Uni due to SES duties (which wil be explained soon) and with Manifest and Supanova events.

Well I went to Sydney over a week ago for Supanova (Pop Culture Event) which was held at Sydney Olympic Park (Homebush Bay) which I had lots of fun, meeting up with staff members as well as meeting up with new faces. Helped out when you are on their turf and seeing how a larger venue can change things around! (Vics vs. NSW vs. Qld)

Anyway, SES duties for me have been boosted with me becoming a Trainee Trainer for the past 3 months I have been training new SES members in the Sunbury Unit and which tomorrow they have their assessment, meanwhile I am now training a newer batch of volunteers as of 3 weeks time. This mean that I have now been asked to take a more active role in training as well meeting up with newer SES members. Due to this the training has taken it's toll on my Japanese studies due to setting up training plans and spending more time on working on how I am able to do these sessions it has given me very little time to be able to study Japanese at the moment as well as that, VICSES has thought that Tuesdays are a better day to place in training (eg. Intro to AIIMS and First Aid Refresher Courses) in which I need but they also affected my Japanese Studies cause I shouldn't miss out on any classes.

So now I am getting ready for a SES Trainers meeting in planing for what we are going to aim for the rest of this year. I will be hopeful to re-apply to do my Japanese lessons for next year and if I am able and I feel I can take on the pressure move back into full time studies instead of part-time studies.

too busy
