Christmas Gifts
Work the past few days has been tedious, but at least I have a few days away from it. I hope I can make enough money.
So, the real reason for this update is for last night/this morning. I went to Amanda's for a small gift exchanging/ get-together. It was Amanda, Myself, Alyssa, Dom and Laura. We had dinner and watched some TV untill Laura showed up. Then we exchanged gifts. I gave Amanda a drawing of a guy and a girl sitting on a ledge durring the sunset. She really loved it. She gave me an acrylic art set, which I love. It's kind of ironic though, I would have used acrylics on that drawing if I had had them, instead of colored pencils. We ended up watching the Family Guy, then Laura and Dom went home. I stayed the night. Knowing that I could open my eyes and see Amanda laying next to me was the greatest feeling in the world. It encapsulised the feeling I was searching for when I made that first drawing I gave to Amanda. This morning, Amanda made waffles, and we hung out for a while before they droped me back off at home.
Now to try out my new art kit...maybe its a good thing that she couldn't find a sketch pad to go with it, otherwise I may have had too much fun drawing ^_^.
