So, for the past 4 months I've been working hard trying to lose weight and improve my nutrition and things of that nature. A big change from out of nowhere, sure, but so far it's going really well. I've been tracking calories on livestrong.com and using our elliptical machine a few times a week.
For the past month it's been hard finding time for exercise, and I was usually too busy cleaning the house or doing yard work to stop and work out for 30 minutes. I figured I was still doing something, so I didn't worry too much about it, but for the past couple weeks my progress has really stalled. I gained back a few pounds at Play On Con and I'm having trouble losing them again.
So today I decided to change things up, and went running in the neighborhood. Anyone that has ever been to our house knows that we live in quite a hilly subdivision. According to MapMyRun.com, there's a 200 foot difference between the highest point (my house) and the lowest point (near the entrance). But I jogged as much of it as I could, and I actually had a good time. I went 1.6 miles in 25 minutes, and next time I hope to go farther!
