My apologies...

Apr 27, 2005 22:50

You know what folks? I have a need to smack myself. I can't believe I didn't think of this before...

Okay, yes, Stick had his reasons for his rants, but I realized a half day after writing my last entry that the other sides of the argument (victims of his rant) had their reasons for biting back.

Now, Stick, you've got all the right in the world to say what you had to say. People do have their problems.
However, I do see why the others got angry. You have publicized their faults for everyone to see. I know that if my faults were publicized, although generally I'd be like, "Yeah, true... :-\" I would also be a bit embarassed and wished you wouldn't have done that.

I think a good step to take towards constructive criticism is that the next time anyone rants about others' problems and wants to be heard about it, he or she should do just that, just not put down any names to associate them with.
This way the faults in people can be known, but at least nobody will know who he or she associated with what. And the people who have a specific fault mentioned can work on improving upon it without feeling pressured.

Once again, I apologize for what I've said before, folks. I really don't know what came over me, but I'm gonna make sure something like that doesn't come outta my ass again.

Anyways, on a lighter note, only a few more college days until I'm fuh-REEEEEEE!!

I fed squirrels on campus. A couple bags of Frito corn chips was all I needed. The first squirrel I encountered, I was sure it already knew who I was because as soon as I looked at it, it stopped where it was and came to me. So I pulled out a corn chip and held it out just to make sure. And I was right, because it took the corn chip from my hand and sat there munching on it without backing away. (^_^)
A group of Japanese students that ride the city bus were passing by and I just kept hearing comment on how cute the squirrel was. And a couple of them even took out their cameras and took a picture of the squirrel. :D
The other squirrels around campus were timid, so it's going to take a while before they warm up to me.
And yes, Jen, fine, I'm an evil bastard who likes to ruin nature. X-P
