What He Does to Her
It is a crime, it is a major crime. Seo Joo Hyun thought to herself as she watched the music video of his group, Still In Love. No one should ever look this good, it is just not right. She knew he was somehow worried by the comments of his fans that they hope that the agency would showcase more of their original creations. However, she knew very well from being in the same industry that you can’t always get what you want.
It came as a surprise to hear him tell her excitedly that the company decided to create a music video for his songs from the upcoming mini album. She expected something really simple like what her group did for Bad Girl as a way of thanking the fans for their endless support. However, to see the images of him wearing the gifts given by YongSeo fans still gives her a jolt even until now.
“It is my way of showing you that you are always on my mind.”
He would always counter whenever she points out the fact that he should not wear so many items in one outing or wear a particular piece so often that the people around them are staring to speculate which includes their companies as well. It is not that she does not like him to but she was afraid of the repercussions and how it will affect his brothers and her sisters.
“Don’t worry, Joo Hyun-ah. It is just a bracelet and a shirt or even a guitar strap. I like wearing them and I do not mind if ever the whole world finds out about what we really are to each other.”
It was just so wrong on so many levels for Seo Joo Hyun that her boyfriend, Jung Yong Hwa has a voice that was so hypnotic that she will agree with his explanations. If it is not enough, it is delivered to her in such a logical way that her brain could not formulate a counter quick enough, not to mention the famous stares that he likes to cast in her way whenever they could find the chance to meet.
“Yong Seobang looks really good on the music video right, maknae? A very laid back informal style. It makes me wish that we were are band rather than a dancing group.”
Hyoyeon, her roommate and often her listening ear in the middle of the night, gushed as she walked in to see her maknae sitting in front of her laptop and sighing away. She was so engrossed in the music video that she did not realize that Hyoyeon was standing at the doorway and just watching her clicking the replay button on the screen.
It took very little time before Joo Hyun was blushing away at the idea that she was caught red-handed, ogling at the boy who seems to make her heart beats faster each and every single time. But she could not help it that he looks so good as compared to last year where he look gaunt, this time he has meat around his cheeks, looking healthy instead of being almost like a walking skeleton.
As the slew of music teasers of the various comebacks of the boy bands continue to pour in, she was waiting in anticipation for CNBlue’s comeback teasers. Well, he being the leader, it was no surprise to her that his will be the last of the lot that will be released by his agency. She was parked in front of her laptop refreshing FNC Music’s YouTube channel minutes before midnight hoping to be one of the first few viewers to watch it. When it was finally posted on their official channel, she swore she lost all ability to talk and it was the same for her sisters who have gathered round to watch it with her
“Is that Yong Seobang? That is right? My eyes are not playing tricks on me right?”
“Hmmm avatar was good too. In fact, all of them looked really good.”
“I think you need make sure you are breathing properly when you see him in your Music Core recording. Bring an oxygen tank if you need to, I think you may need it.”
It then suddenly occurred to her that she will be seeing him on her next MC recording and for a moment, her heart lurched and it make her take a nervous swallow of her saliva. She wondered if she would be able to survive his charisma attack. Next thing she knew, she was receiving a call from him which she knew he would want to ask her about her thoughts and reactions to the teaser.
The days dragged on and the release of his music video for the promotional title track was finally posted. She thought it is so unfair for someone like Jung Yong Hwa to look this sexy onscreen. He looked absolutely handsome and was flirting at the viewers with his eyes for all its worth. She was immediately brought back to his bang and hood commercial where he looked positively smoldering and she was stunned into silence for a good long while, much to the amusement of her sisters.
She was thinking to herself as she stood backstage to watch him record his performance for Music Core, making sure that she and her sister are kept safely hidden from the view of the fans. Though it was not as sexy as the last few stages of the other shows but she still felt tongue-tied all the same. It was like his voice was sending shivers all through her system while his gaze kept lingering over at her spot to his right. She could feel her cheeks burn with embarrassment.
Seo Joo Hyun was a goner. She thought to herself sadly. I am reacting like one of his many fan girls.
She knew he had to rush off for another event but it was a tradition that comeback artist will visit the dressing rooms of the others to give out their albums. For the host of the show, it was not different. It was not long before they were alone in the dressing room after her sisters suddenly wanted to go visit the legendary Shinhwa oppas to congratulate them on their successful comeback. However, for the couple left standing, they knew her sisters was just providing the privacy, the window for a few minutes of stolen moments.
“I missed you, Hyunnie.”
Before, she could formulate her reply to his greeting; she was swept up in arms with his mouth seeking hers. It felt really wrong but yet at the same time it was just what she needed.
