FANFIC AUTHOR'S APPRECIATION DAY
March 6 through March 13
Post to your LJ each day at least one of your favorite fanfic authors and why you love them, their work, and why they need more appreciation.
C'mon! You know you want to! -
suzvoy Found this through the
daily_snitch. Today's author is FernWithy, who needs more love for her fics in general because she is so absolutely brilliant. BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT.
The Doll Army: Dora Tonks's mother doesn't want her to play war with her dolls. This was one of the first things of hers I ever read, and my overall favorite, I think. And her characterization of Peter is refreshingly lovely.
The Smart One: Truth comes to Palo Torezi, an artist from Naboo, when he is called for an audience with Lord Vader.
Invisible: Severus Snape makes his choice, with help from one James Potter.
Shifts: Longest story, and one of the best. Remus goes to teach at Smeltings to protect Dudley. I'm still not all the way through the part that's finished, but it's enjoyable, just like everything else she writes.
More of her works can be found at
FF.N and
The Sugar Quill.
