Just a warning: it's going to be a lot of wedding talk from here on out so I'll try to hide it all under a cut in case it gets annoying for any of you. :B

The pattern on the dress is really nice too. I wonder if a type like that would ever be on sale anywhere. In worst case the sew flowers idea sounds awesome.

I've had this stupid idea running in the back of my head, but what about... SUPAAARR KNITTED GOWN PROJECT. XD XD

They would probably have some floor samples on sale somewhere, though not without snags and other little damages. Hehe, I have seen knitted wedding dresses, but I think if I were to knit something wedding-related it would be something small like a shawl or bolero.

LOL. With Asian family, its inevitable to have it at the restaurant!!!! XD

5K??? So expensive @___@;;; LOL... considering its going to be worn once?? It looks pretty. Are you going to have a Chinese dress as well? I noticed all my cousins and aunts that got married, they wore several dresses throughout the dinner.

Yeah, some dresses run up higher than that even. ^^;;; I'm not even ruling out the idea of renting a dress if there's a style I like! I will probably get a qipao too, yup.

you can also try elegant lace bridal, they have a pretty big selection of dresses if you're still poking around. maybe you can also try some of the seamstresses in the area and ask for a quote on how much it will be to get a dress altered? the one i'm currently with is named zita belz and she's pretty good. when i went to take my dress in i saw other dresses she's working on and she's pretty knowledgeable with her wedding dresses. one of them she's taking in the bust of a dress that has all this detail beading and she's even taking the time to hand sew all the beading to make sure it looks perfect.
