Four Day Weekend!
I love having four days off!!! AAAHHH!!! :D
My family had our Thanksgiving meal with my dad's side of the family in my grandma's house in Daly City. Josh and I made some garlic mashed potatoes (using a combination of a recipe from All Recipes and from our coworker, kaia9). My sister Amy made red velvet cupcakes.
We had a lot of Burmese food and honey-baked ham instead of turkey. :9 It was nice to see my cousins again too; they came home from college in so. Cal for the weekend.
Josh and I watched "The Lost Boys" because he said I'd like it if I liked "Twilight." It had its moments. :D And then my sisters and I watched "Twilight" AGAIN! *LOL* Well, it was the first viewing for Amy, technically. I got a chance to do a ton of knitting this weekend too. I finished my Silken Scabbard. You can see some of Josh's manga/book collection in the background.
And I've started working on the Side Slip Cloche.
Here's hopin' it comes out okay!
