There's nothing quite like hearing that literally the only work you've done in the last eight months that means anything at all was four days doing site surveys. Everything else? Will be deleted the moment you leave (which, to be fair, is also the moment the boss who made you do all that leaves the base). I am the very definition of a self-licking ice cream cone.
