How do you say "from the sea" in German? As in, "my name is Marina which means 'from the sea'"

"aus dem Meer" (out of the sea in the sense of coming out of the actual water), or "vom Meer" (from the area, like sending someone a postcard from the beach).

I think the OP meant the etymology of her name. If so, 'from the sea' is equivalent to an adjective with a similar meaning, e.g. 'marine'. Marina is actually a feminine Latin adjective meaning "marine", "relating to the sea".
