Japanese translation help needed
その眠りは果てしなく深く、電話のベルも、外をゆく車の音も、私の耳には響かない。何もつらくはないし、淋しいわけでもない、そこにはただすとんとした眠りの世界があるだけだ。
"That dream was endlessly deep and neither the ringing of the telephone, nor the noises made by cars passing by outside sounded in my ears. I didn't feel hurt or lonely, there was just the ..... world of sleep."
This is as much as I've been able to translate without understanding what ただす or what とんとした meant in this context. Any ideas? Also there may be mistakes in what I did translate, if you can see them I'd be grateful for some hints.
