I got this Italian email and I don't speak Italian. I think they're just saying they processed my complaint, but I'd appreciate a translation! Thanks!

Almost perfect. In the first paragraph, the object of the complaint is definitely a taxi licence owner, and indeed one can hardly imagine how a complaint could be made against a taxi. What is begun is the process of imposing sanctions. In the third, the addressee is thanked for "effective" collaboration. But given that Bureaucratic Italian is not meant to be understood, you've done quite a job.

Thanks! That's more progress than I ever expected on that issue. Now I just wonder if they're really doing anything or if they just say that sort of thing to pacify complaining tourists....
