Dutch historical linguistics

Can anyone recommend a book on the development of the Dutch language, written in English? (I suspect finding on in Dutch would be easy, but my Dutch isn't good enough to handle it.) Or maybe one on the development of Germanic languages in general and how they've branched apart?

Bonus points if it's available as an e-book, since that would be much easier for me to get.
