I prepare performing editions of obscure baroque music; and believe it or not-- one of the biggest growth markets (for classical music) is China:
e.g. 2 million pianos are sold in China every year and more than 30 million young Chinese are taking piano lessons.
Since Iam putting a website up for my selling my music editions; I think it would be very wise to have a Chinese version.
My question or advice I'm looking for: should the site be in Mandarin or Cantonese?
Since I live in New York City, getting someone to translate and code a Chinese version wouldn't be too hard or expensive.
Although I do worry about someone being cute or inserting "the brown lazy dog jumps over the fence" a few times on each page ;)
Thanks for any suggestions!
