Hi all,
I don't normally make posts like this, but...
I am going to be spending a lot of time in Russia this summer and I would like to find a good book to help me learn some of the basics before I go, so I am looking for suggestions. Of course there are about 300 different books out there on beginning Russian, so I am turning to you for help.
My preferred style of language learning is to start out heavy on vocab and grammar. I like to figure out the inner-workings of a language as I start. I'm not the kind of language learner who just listens and picks up or who learns a lot by just basic conversation. I really want to get into the grammar.
So, anybody have any suggestions for a good Beginning Russian book? Also, any suggestions on Mongolian would be lovely.
