I haven't posted in forever. I see many of the people on my friends list hasn't either.
Not much has changed. I'm still in Ann Arbor, and with VZW. Wait did I tell you all I moved back to Ann Arbor last year? Hell, in my old age I most likely did, but forgot.
You would think since I haven't been on here that I would have something neat to go over with everyone, but I don't. I live a quiet calm suburban lifestyle. In fact if I were an adult in the 1980's I would have one of the medium-sized station wagons with the wood grain paneling on it. you know the ones made from GM. Maybe a Cutlass Ciera or Buick Century wagon would suffice and if I were straight surely it would be adorned with a "baby on board" caution sign in the back window as well. Perhaps I could be the center of one of those 80's movies set in the Chicago suburbs. The ones where the quiet boring colonial house with horrible wallpaper is rocked by an amazing adventure to the big city or even the goofy disliked relative that comes to stay. yeah right! So before you fall asleep, I can go over the summer highlights.
Ethan and I have been together for over 6 years now. In that time we've accumulated furniture, a mutual annoyance for other people and their offspring. Oh yeah I forgot to mention our newest addition to the clan, Odie. Odie is another Boston terrier who comes from a broken uncaring home etc... I suppose each dog has his or her story. Both Tater and Odie occupy our enough of our time so that we forget about our own mortality, and we get a giggle out of the human like qualities the two exhibit. This year we will take both of them up north for camping. I have purchased special harnesses that will allow us to pick them like a suitcase if needed. www.Ruffwear.com is a pretty kool website for dogs.
As mentioned before we have furniture... we got a new couch the other day, for a few days I had two couches, which created a slight annoyance walking around the house. My dad came up from Adrian to take over the old couch.
This summer I have been really active with food products. I have started a garden, and at the highlight of my garden was some different lettuce plants. I've made a few salads and what a difference homegrown lettuce makes! Wanting to preserve the experience I let the lettuce grow way beyond its typical harvest time, and as a result I have some monster-sized lettuce plants fitted with short stubby lettuce leaves. I've let them grow so much that they are about to flower. While the lettuce has done well, when it comes to the Rosemary plant I have a brown thumb. I'm now on my 3rd rosemary plant and I'm crossing my fingers that I wont kill this one. I've made some good drinks my garden. I made some killer Mojitos and a Fizzy Rosemary-Lemonade with Rum or Vodka. Despite my desire to incorporate ingredients from my garden, I've created a couple other culinary goods sans-items from the garden. I made homemade ice cream. Vanilla ice cream was the 1st. Today I made some Earl Grey ice cream. It was very good. It was almost like an Earl Grey chai ice cream. Its so light and airy that I can scoop it out just like whipped cream.
Well I suppose that is all for now. If I ever write my memoirs I'll be sure to title it The Adoxography files: "lifestyle of the boredom boy" Good night!
