today is a shitty day. stupid rain.
the secretary went home sick so I have nothing to do. I've been playing neopets all morning.
Marc and I went to ArtsFest on Sunday. he bought me some really nice stuff. he's so sweet.
oh, we got a kitten! we looked in the paper Sunday for kitten ads and there was this one Himalayan that was nine weeks old, had already gotten it's first set of shots and everything, and was purebred. came with papers and everything. it cost $125 but we thought, "what the hell, lets look at it". we got directions to the house which was like 45 minutes away out in Miller. when we were almost there we saw a house that fit the description so we pulled in and asked if it was the kitten house. the man in the garden assured us it was. anyway, it was the wrong house and we got a free 7 week old kitten instead. she's so cute and hyper and happy. she's gray. we named her monkey 'cause she does flips and shit and has kinda monkeyish fur. what a cutie.
the woman who was supposed to replace me withdrew her application. I'm not sure if I should stay here until they find a new replacement or just go to Colorado since I already put down over $500 for this month. I really wanna stay. I love this job. and they really love me here. I overhear Julie talking to people about how great I am all the time. yeah, I'm pretty awesome.
Mike moved back to Branson. He's living with Joey, Josh's brother. they're just roommates. they have seperate rooms. I haven't seen it yet but it sounds really really nice. beautiful location and big, apparently.
on Saturday morning after I took Marc to work, mom and I went and worked out, went out for breakfast, and then went shopping. she bought me pretty clothes. I totally scored. that reminds me, I better work out today....
Cozette (one of my moms ridiculously talented students) made me a ring because I gave her one of my old French porn cards (kinda pictures she uses in her art). it's really beautiful. she made it with a shrunken copy of the card. it has a tube stone setting which is really nice. my mom was so impressed and jealous. she keeps on sending people down to look at my ring. I love it. Good ol' talented Cozette. she's so beautiful....
Kori should be getting back from wherever the fuck she is now soon. it's been months.
I'm going to Australia next year. I'm also hoping to go to Ghana. I really hope I can go there.
