Glass cocoons. Does that happen a lot, here?

And are you ok?

Agreed - this situation seems unusual. Perhaps even by the standards of this place I've witnessed thus far.

It happened again after that [arrow up to Stellaris' reply] to one person, but he was in the cocoon for much longer than they were. He was still fine when it went away.

That is new information to me. What do you mean by much longer?

feathered_earth January 8 2011, 03:47:56 UTC
It took a couple of weeks for him to come out again.

Oh dear. Did he require any care? Intravenous feeding? Temperature control?

No, he didn't seem to. [...] But it couldn't hurt to put a blanket or two on Gene.

[Given that it's deeper into winter and Section 1 has horrible insulation.]

Gene has a space heater and it looks like he had set up his own insulation, but I'll have some extra blankets brought in later.

I do hope he won't be out that long.

When it happened to several people 3 months ago, people didn't know what was going on, so that might've been the first time.

I am unharmed, Above.

Sounds like it'll keep happening then. Joy.

But are you ok?

Yet another thing to watch out for, isn't it.

I [pause] think so.

azhdarchidae January 8 2011, 04:11:31 UTC
So it just comes out of nowhere, lasts for however long, and then goes. [She read the comments.]

[pause]

All right.

Yes. The typical.

I appreciate the concern.

[And here comes the adolescent too-cool-to-care disclaimer... but she realizes mid word it would just be stirring up trouble, and markers that out.]

Just bei

Take care, all right?
