turning a new page
Um yeah, I'm watching Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay (uncensored) with my parents - AWKWARD! They are laughing way too hard at the "Osama Bin Laden's beard" thing... Anyway, seems I haven't written all semester, but hopefully I will have more time and more fun things to write about once I start work... AT PIXAR!
I'm really going to miss Boston. Over the last five and a half years it really became my home. Even after all my undergraduate friends left, I've gotten used to hanging out with Andriy and his Russian friends and ballroom people and my housemates. I feel like I've settled down, and now I have to leave. At the same time I'm really excited to see a new place - not to mention free passes to Disneyland! I'm sure I'll get used to it and love it soon enough, but right now all I have is anxiety. I wish that I had at least a little more time to just sit back, relax, and enjoy Boston.
I'm just so glad and relieved that the whole job search thing has come to an end. I'll be happy when I finally get some stability in my life. Now there's only one thing left between Pixar and me, thesis... Yuck. But let's not think about that.
