I can remember the time we slept in your living room to "guilty cubicles" during the summer heat after exhausting ourselves from a conversation about the universe; the times spent riding out somewhere just to sit and talk; the way the sun shines at noon time and how it will always be a friendly reminder of the day I skipped class to watch you fry fish; all of the hours I wasted laying in grass watching clouds and airplanes thinking about nothing at all; the different sunrises I've seen; sea salty air; the way we talked until 3a.m. inside of an elevator with purple walls; your striped walls and all our photo shoots with that background; the way I touched your face on the night of our first date; the songs we can sing when we're drunk; the way the heater hums these days and how it makes the same noise the air conditioning did in my parents room on all the nights I couldn't sleep.
