i finally finished reading Running With Scissors: A Memoir by Augusten Burroughs. hurrah! not that it wasnt nice, it was. it was like reading david sedaris-- all that gay stuff. but interesting. its an EASY interesting read. i liked it better than david sedaris.
i went shopping today. another hurrah! and bought clothes and dvds. i even found a doraemon dvd. i asked the saleslady if it had english subs, and she said yes. LIAR. when i told her to test it, there was no english at all!!! no english audio, no english sub. just goes to show how good our salesladies are. know your products ladies, before you sell them.
one little thing that irked me was my mom. she was chatting with the little chinese owner of the shop where i bought some shirts. she was saying how i could not understand chinese, nor speak chinese. HELLO? i do know. im right beside you, i can hear you. hell, i even spoke to that girl in chinese asking how much the shorts was!! i know she knows i understand (at least a little), but why is she putting it off to the world that i dont??
but since you paid for everything, i will pretend that im clueless when it comes to chinese.
